Ways to Use Essential Oils
1. Add a few drops of essential oil to a pan of boiling water and then simmer on the stove to freshen to air.
2. Rub a drop of Peppermint essential oil on the back of your neck and at temples for relief of a headache.
3. Add 20 drops of essential oils to a box of baking soda and sprinkle over the carpet before vacuuming.
4. Apply Lavender or Tea Tree oil to cuts, light burns or scrapes to promote healing.
5. Wrap a washcloth around an ice cube and add 1 drop of Chamomile oil to help teething pain in children.
6. Inhale Rosemary during long car trips or studying to promote alertness and stimulate memory.
7. Add several drops of essential oil and place in cabinets or drawers to freshen.
8. Add essential oils to your potpourri to revive it.
9. Moths avoid Lavender and Rosemary ~ make sachets from dried herb and add essential oils of each.
10. Bring down fever with a drop of Peppermint and Lavender added to a cool bath.
11. Apply a drop of Lemon oil to a wart every day until gone.
12. Rosemary oil apply to your hair brush or added to shampoo encourages hair growth.
13.Add 4 drops of Thyme to your diffuser to eliminate germs during flu and cold season.
14. Place several drops of your favorite oil on a piece of cloth and place in the clothes dryer.
15. Put several drops of Peppermint oil on a cotton ball to deter mice, ant and rodents.
16. Apply Tea Tree oil to ringworm and add Tea Tree and Oregano to shampoo to treat head lice.
